I don’t know where to begin. I’m so grateful to have someone like you in my life. I’ve been through a lot, and through my years if being bullied - One Tree Hill was the one thing that I was able to look forward to. I loved Quinn from the very first moment she appeared on my screen. This last season in particular has been amazing. Quinn has grown so much as a person, and you’ve evolved as an actress. I love how it ended, my heart just smiled watching the little Evans family!
After meeting you last summer I could see how special you really are as a person. The joy, that good, special energy that just surrounds you. Going to France this February was worth the 16 hour trip (and getting on a wrong train. Oops!) just to meet you again. To tell you in person how much you have inspired me. How much you have helped me.
Being bullied, dealing with people close to me dying, self-harming and being on my own made me loose complete faith in myself. Through your tweets (although not always directly to me) have helped me through all of it. Your advice has meant so much. You guided me the way to find the strength and confidence. Just a year ago I was hating myself and my body, you were the one to help me turn around and start believing that things could get better.
Every day is still a struggle, but you’ve helped me through it. It meant so much to me when you listened to my story, and allowed me to cry in front of you in France. I’ll cherish those moments forever. There has been a few moments where I wanted to harm myself again, but I remember all your words, read your TTB interview and your letter to beauty that’s on my wall. It always saves the day, no matter how bad it might feel at the moment.
You’ve saved my life, Shantel. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being you. And for showing me the way to Team True Beauty. I love you.
I just want to say how much I love you and how much of a great actress you are. I want to thank you for being an inspiration and great role model. Every time you tweet an inspiring quote it makes my day better, and I believe anything is possible. You have been amazing on One Tree Hill, and I have loved watching you. I wish you the best of luck in any upcoming projects you have.
I loved you as Quinn in One Tree Hill, and your relationship with Clay was perfect. You are actually one of the prettiest people alive, and I am so jealous of your hair. I will never forget your amazing relationship with Joy/Haley, and you have brought me so many laughs and tears during your time on One Tree Hill. I will forever be grateful for the lessons that you have taught me :) I love you.
Thank you for being such an inspiration. You have helped me through so many hard times just by your tweets. You’re a hero to so many people in the world, including me. You have showed me how to see the good in people and life, and taught me never to give up on the things I love. I am so glad you took up the role of Quinn James. Nobody could’ve played her better, and you brought a new life to Tree Hill. Without you the show wouldn’t be the same. We have watched you grow over the past 3 years and it’s been an honor to watch you become even more talented and beautiful. You had us laughing and crying, and I will miss you. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you. Thank you for being a inspiration and my hero. I would love to thank you in person, but for now this’ll do. I love you so much beautiful ♥
I would like to thank you, Shantel, for being an inspiration to a lot of people including me. Your character, Quinn, taught me that no matter what a person’s past has been you could still accept them like what she did with Clay. You are amazing! Love you and thank you!
Well first of all I wanna say thank you. You are such an amazing person, and an inspiration to me and lots of other people. I cannot thank you enough for helping one person in particular. I know that you helped her through some tough times, and she wouldn’t be here without you, to be honest I wouldn’t be here without her! She’s the best person I know, and that’s because you gave her the strength to hold her head up high. Your such an brave and strong person. I have no idea how you do it. Whatever life throws at you, you seem to deal with. I could write a thousand words about you, and how grateful I am that you are there to inspire me daily, but I would end up simply boring you! So I’m just going to say thank you so much Shantel, never let anything bring you down in life because your too good for sadness! I love you.
My name is Coralie. I’m writing this letter to thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I’ve been trying to figure out what were the right words for you to really understand the impact you had on my life. You’ve made me a better person and you truly helped me see that there was nothing wrong with me. You’ve made me realize that I had a voice and that I should use it because it mattered. I’ve had a pretty messed up childhood. I grew up in a loving and caring family but things were far from perfect. My father was violent with my mom, then my mom filed for a divorce and before the divorce was completed my father committed a suicide; and all that happened before I even reached the age of 9. No need to say I was a complete mess at the time but I’ve always underestimated my needs and who I was because I had little sisters who I felt needed more attention. I was feeling weak; I was ashamed of what my father had done, ashamed of who I was and to top it all I was a kid, and one thing I learned is that kids can be really mean with each other. I started developing eating disorders in a way to punish myself for what my father had done. I was ashamed of my body, ashamed I hadn’t been able to prevent things from happening. Little by little I learned how to hide those feeling and to hide myself to make people forget about me, forget about my father. For as long as I can remember I had this ache inside of me; the fear of not being smart enough, pretty enough… Just not enough. I started meeting the “right” people. People who didn’t try to judge me based on my past. Last year a few days before I turned 20 Team True Beauty started, I remember thinking “wow I’m not alone”. I didn’t imagine there were so many people out there suffering, maybe not with the same story but still suffering. I’ve been a fan of One Tree Hill for 9 years and it had already done a hell of a work in helping me go through things. So when someone of the show who meant so much for me, you, joined TTB it was like having the two best things that ever happened to me united to bring me even more guidance and comfort. The first interview you did for TTB has been my inspiration. You’ve reached me so deeply, and I felt like I had someone I could turn to when I was having a hard time. I read this interview when I wake up feeling down and my day instantly feels better and less scaring… I know ‘thank you’ doesn’t even come close to express how grateful I am for you but that’s all I can find. So thank you for everything you do with Team True Beauty. Thank you for being that genuinely amazing person. Thank you for all those wise words you write on twitter. Thank you for always finding time for your fans and for the people who are struggling. And thank you for making us all understand that “We are BEAUTIFUL, We are CAPABLE, We are LOVED …!”
I am thankful for you as an inspiration. Your portrayal or Quinn was epic. You’re kind and humble, and I wish you nothing but success in the future. Thank you Shantel for being part of the OTH experience and always being a beautiful inspiration.
I want to say thank you! I’m so thankful for all you do during these 3 years on OTH, for all you do in life, and for your fans. You’re my favorite actress since the first time I saw you on OTH. I’m so happy to know you because you’re so amazing. You’re stunning, nice and funny. You inspire me every day. When I feel bad, I know what I should do to cheer me up: Connect on twitter, search your page, and read your tweets, because your tweets always make me happy. You’re my inspiration, the reason I said in my head I’m good enough and don’t care of peoples judgement. I’m capable. I learn a lot from you, you’re my rolemodel and you always will be! I was sad, because I wasn’t at the french convention. I’m sure I’m gonna meet you someday. So thank you for being you, thank you for helping me every day, and for being MY HERO! I LOVE YOU.
I wanted to write you a short letter because I want you to know what you mean to me. I fell in love with you since the first moment I saw you as Quinn in One Tree Hill. You’re so beautiful and nice and you have portraited Quinn perfectly, no one could have done it like you. You’re an amazing actress and I hope to see you soon in another tv or movie project cause you deserve it. I really have to thank you because your inspiring advices helped me, you’re such a role model and I’m proud to say that you’re mine.
You taught me what true beauty is and how everyone must feel beautiful because everyone is beautiful in their way. You taught your fans to always love themselves and to be proud of what they are and what they believe. So thank you so much for eveything you say and do for your fans. I will always love and support you.
I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have done. You have surely helped me through some dark times by just being YOU. So I would just like to say thank you. You’re beautiful and an amazing actress and I can’t wait to see new projects. I will always Support you.
WOW, where do I start?! I’m sure that you have heard loads of times before that you are one hell of an inspirational woman! When ever I am having a crappy day, I log onto my twitter, go onto your page and read your tweets. The power from these messages instantly makes me feel better and makes me believe in my self that little bit more. knowing that if anyone could vanish this panic and worry it would be you. I didn’t know people like you were possible! I once sent you a message in a massive panic about an external exam I had the following day, and then I opened it and read your message. You told me to possess all the knowledge and confidence I needed and to ‘TRUST THAT SMARTY PANTS!’ Ever since that day, whenever I am stressed about exams and my potential in life, I read that tweet, and suddenly that stress and worry disappears. Just by that one short reply, you made me confident of my own abilities and made me believe in myself. I’m sure that I am not the only one who has been changed by 140 characters of your words
It’s hard to put into words how much someone like you means to us. You’ve helped me get through the hardest times and the most darkest times in my life. Whenever I’ve not wanted to live or whatever, you’ve helped me through it all. You’ve impacted my life in more words than I can explain. I just want to say thank you for everything that you do. Thank you for being an inspiration to so many of us. I love you so much. Wishing you all the best.
I really, really wanna thank you so much! You helped me a lot the past time! You sent me very inspiring tweets, which really made me feel loads better. You told me to believe in myself and my dreams. You inspired me to fight for my dreams. I love how you always take time for your fans and make them feel better! You are such a unique and inspiring person! And an amazing actress for sure! I really liked the Shantel I’ve seen in OTH, but I love the Shantel I got to meet through Twitter, you inspired me so much and I am really thankful for you!!
I can’t thank you enough for becoming a part of OTH. I love how your so nice to your fans, and how you appreciate them as much as your friends! You inspire me every single day, and for that I thank you!
I hope that you can carry on and inspire new people each day like you have me. I look forward to seeing your tweets each day, and I hope one day I can meet you to tell you in person how much you inspire me! I possibly couldn’t put in words how much I love you!
